Week 24 Blue Skies to Birthday
Mongolia's mantra is the "Land of the Blue Sky". There are over 300 days of blue, but it may not always be clear from pollution. We take it when we get it. The weather is warming a bit. The streets are challenging at best and give Europe a run for their money on width. We also see Ger's and new buildings being built on the same property.
Sister Leavitt was invited to spend a couple hours with the sisters from one of the zones in an activity about sharing love and of course had some treats.
The church's Service Center employees began the Tsagaan Sar (Lunar New Year) celebration early with a lunch of traditional foods and dress. It was an amazing meal and entertainment with singing and dancing.
We had the awesome opportunity to meet with Battulga and his family accompanied by Bishop Dashdorj. It was a great evening getting to know them. Thank you, Elder's Hancock and Peterson for making it happen.
Our friends Hosea and Faith and family visited us at church again. Loved to have them come.
The district joined us for a birthday gathering. Great to have them share. Thanks for the tie.
