Testimony, Timing and Trials
Where two or three are gathered...
We couldn't be happier to be serving the Lord in this beautiful country among these beautiful people. Our testimonies have been strengthened through service and by the words of this book. It truly is "Another Testament of Jesus Christ". We have seen the transformative power that lies within its pages. Truth is Truth and whether we believe it or not, it's still truth.
We had another wonderful Zone Conference in Bucharest. This was President and Sister Fowler's last one as they return home in June. They are great mission leaders! We are so grateful to have served with them. The young Elders and Sisters have so much energy and excitement to share the gospel with others. It’s wonderful to learn from them and play with them. They are truly amazing! We also had the opportunity to have dinner with the other Senior Couples serving here. It is always good to be with them. The love and friendships we have made is priceless. Of course, there were a few things we hadn't captured in our previous trips.
District Conference was held in Brasov, and members came from every branch in the country. For those that could not make the trip it was broadcast into each building. There was a great spirit felt in the meetings of the two-day conference. Elder Samuel Lopez of the Seventy presided and gave some stirring remarks. We were blessed to be able to attend in person. Some of the senior sisters had to strike a pose where it's probably the last time some of us may be together.
We have witnessed the Lord's miracles. He is in the details of our lives. It's been a long time coming. Dana's dedication and perseverance have been tremendous. She has faced enormous trials but has remained strong throughout. Her faith and testimony are an inspiration to us all. It was truly a joyful day!
The beautiful poppies and other flowers were in full bloom along the roadside as we have been traveling.
The day in the lives of our Romanian friends. Some running errands, some stopping to chat and some even working.

The culture so diverse the scenery so varied. The Roman families are unique and continue to hold on to their traditions. The horses are still used for work, and the cows are milked by hand.
What a fun time going to the outside markets. They have everything here from clothing, plants, flowers, bread, milk, meats, cheese, vegetables and fruit. The Strawberries are ripe and ready for the eating. We don’t know why they taste so delicious here. It makes for a fun time strolling and shopping.
This is an amazing memorial in front of a random village church. The cemetery was old and was established around the church. From what we could figure out from the Hungarian language they are memorials of fallen soldiers. The woodwork is incredible.
Our Sweet little Boba’s selling their flowers and vegetables.
