Tis the season

Let the celebrating begin The lights of the Christmas market were magical.  We had a wonderful and relaxing evening enjoying the sights and sounds of the Holidays. We stopped by a local artisan gathering, purchased a few things and even tried on the sheep skin.  It was fairly cold out and I was just standing there visiting with his wife in the booth and this gentleman walked over to me took off the skin and put it on me.  He then grabbed a hat out of his booth and stuck it on my head.  The thing was crazy heavy.  He told us it was 25 kg, that's about 55 lbs.  It was all of that.  Would have preferred keeping it on but he wanted it back. For our weekly District Council, we combined it with a service project and filled bags with a few items.  We had fun filling them and each companionship took a few out to distribute. Creation and the human mind

"...all things denote there is a God" Just happened to catch the sky in a very rare moment for this time of the year.  It's been pretty gloomy for the past several weeks and we've seen precipitation in the form of rain and fog almost every day. The two photos were taken only moments between and the colors as you can imagine aren't really captured.  Nevertheless, God is good and His creations are a manifestation of His love for each of us.  We took a little drive on P-Day to a couple of Monasteries just outside of Iasi.  They never disappoint.  The branch insisted that they have our Christmas lunch before transfers, in which Elder Taylor (back ginger) would be going home.  He has served in Iasi for several months and the members loved him.  Also, Sister Morrison (front right) and Elder Bennett (back center) were also transferred and are also loved and will be missed.  Sister Genoveva and sister Maria insisted that we let them prepare the meal this ...
